Haddock
Melanogrammus aeglifinus
Haddock can be identified by the "Devil's Mark", the two distinctive black spots on both sides of the body behind the pectoral fin. Haddock is being eaten more and more at present. Our Norwegian haddock is caught using a line. This keeps the soft white flesh intact and ensures irreproachable quality. It is a very flavoursome and generally affordable fish.
