This turbot has the same name as Maxima, the Queen of the Netherlands. It is truly a regal fish. In addition to the brill, the turbot is also a luxurious fish variety. The tubercles on
the skin of the turbot are its main identifying feature. This delicacy can be found on the menu in many top restaurants. In general, this delicious fish is somewhat more expensive due to limited supply.
Like all other Dutch flatfish, the turbot tastes best in the period from August to December. All grades are available to suit your requirements in packs of 3, 10 and 20 kg.
